About Mind Race

I started Mind Race as an escape. Initially, I was reluctant to publish my writing because I was scared. Whether it was of judgment or simply lack of interest, fear held me back. However, I overcame this barrier for one reason. As I release my complex emotions onto the paper in front of me, and as I continue to produce more and more essays and commentaries that are sourced from none other than my own thoughts, I realize that as humans, we have unimaginable amount of ideas. So many that I believe those who fail to express them somewhere outside their own mind, they will lose it. Not only that, but because of the sheer amount of ideas we possess, we are bound to overlap. As a species we share patterns, we share realizations, fears, and beliefs.

I have two goals for this blog.

I hope that by writing my thoughts, by attaching my preferred form of emotional expression to a clear purpose, I will find clarity. I preach the notion that no answer has one right answer. That we can analyze anything and find shades of grey. However, that idea in itself holds irony. There is possibility that not EVERYTHING follows this self created rule for life. So, maybe by the end of all this reflection, I will find an answer. If anything, I hope to find something I didn’t see before.

Next, I hope you feel seen. I hope my words create the illusion of conversation. Maybe, they will spark conversation. To know my own crazy and confusing mind can produce wonder, can produce question, or argument, not only excites me, but truly makes me happy. Patterns, as I said before, we share, and for that I hope my emotional turmoil can align with someone else in this world. I wish for my words to make no one feel alone, to be evidence that you are not alone.
